I am sitting at work reading a friends blog, and realize I have not posted anything in a great while. Well, that is going to change. While I do not have much right now, all my photos are at home, I am begining to think about what to write about. There have been many adventures, and life changing events from which to choose. Stay tuned.

Honoring Past and Present.

Every year I try to go to Airventure in Oshkosh Wisconsin. For those who have never heard of Airventure, it is basically our national airshow. Airventure is the annual fly-in convention of the Experimental Aircraft Association. It seems that every year Airventure is better than the last. This year was no exception. While there are new aircraft, parts and the like, Airventure also pays tribute to those who have come before us. With aircraft from almost every year and manufacturer ans well as experimental aircraft of every shape and size, there is something for everyone.

One special time during Ariventure is the airshow. And while I was never in the armed services for our great country, I respect those who serve and have served more than I ever have. As a tribute to our armed services and the freedoms we enjoy due to their sacrifice, I wish to say thanks. Thank you to Robert Schwabik, and Joseph Daugird, two heroes who are no longer with us. And thank you to everyone else for your sacrifice.

Everyone has a tough time driving once in a while. Well, I have tough times flying as well. Here I am waiting for take off at Midway Airport in Chicago. The fun part about this flight is that I was assigned a takeoff spot ahead of the jets.

Got a call yesterday to see if I had time to fly to Mississippi today.  Well, I had the time. Took some pictures out the window from 18,000 feet.
